The Moonshake monthly residency continues at SPACE! International and local DJs, an immersive light show by C. Gilman, and custom sound design. Proper dance party vibes with mixes spanning house, disco, electro, dancefloor, techno, and beyond.March features the New York Disco Machine (Justin Miller) and Portland crate-digger Dad's Denim (aka Jeff Griecci).Originally based in New York, Justin Miller (New York Disco Machine) has taken musical inspiration from everything around him to become a singular voice emanating from the city’s underground scene, working tirelessly on a sound that brings dance music through its roots to the present era. Justin and his family now call Rockland, ME home where he runs @<a href="http://privatepress.co/" title="http://privatepress.co/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">privatepress.co</a> and continues to build his immense record collection. He is a DJ/selector &amp; resident at Nightmoves, Public Records, The Lot Radio &amp; DFA DJ.Dad’s Denim is the vinyl DJ moniker of Portland, ME based cinematographer Jeff Griecci. Always positive, always buoyant, Dad’s Denim perpetually whirls in the warmth of a hazy coastal summer afternoon. With selections spanning multiple flavors of disco and house, he’s especially drawn to funky nu-disco, Italo, afro-beat, latin, and deep house, with the occasional left-field techno dip, all music to move to. The founder and primary host of the Overlook dance parties, Dad’s Denim has also spun records at various bars and venues across Portland.
