Join Team Streams and The Friends of Bryan Park to clean streams of litter near Bryan Park and other sections of Henrico County.

Team Streams is partnering with The Friends of Bryan Park (FoBP) to clean streams of litter and waste near Bryan Park and other sections of Henrico County. Join us to help rid our waterways of what doesn&#x27;t belong, before it affects animal life or reaches the Chesapeake Bay!<h2>DATES &amp; LOCATIONS</h2>We are offering multiple opportunities to participate in this stream cleaning spree! See specifics below. After registering, please email John Zeugner (FoBP) with your date choice(s) to confirm your spot and get more details about how it will all work. Sunday, Oct 18th at 2 pm <ul><li>Meet at Park Shelter #1 in Bryan Park (follow FoBP Event signs) </li><li>Task: clean up around park ponds and parts of Jordans Branch floodplains; also Princeton Creek section in Bryan Park</li></ul> Wednesday, Oct 21st at 4pm <ul><li>Meet at Shelter #1 in Bryan Park</li><li>Clean a section of stream in Henrico County. </li></ul> Friday, Oct 23th at 9am <ul><li>Riverine Master Naturalists regular work day</li><li>Meet at Park’s Nature Center in Bryan Park (follow signs) </li><li>Task: clean up western portions of Upper Ponds and west side of upper Jordans’ Branch floodplains</li></ul>Saturday, Oct 24th at 9:30 am<ul><li>Meet at Park Shelter # 1 in Bryan Park (follow FoBP Event signs) </li><li>Task: Cleanup southern floodplains of Jordans Branch within the Park </li></ul>--<h2>About the 2020 Conservation Games</h2>Join Team Fields, Team Forests, or Team Streams as these teams compete in the 2020 Conservation Games, a multi-week celebration and fundraising experience to support the conservation work of Capital Region Land Conservancy in the Richmond region. Participants earn points for their team by fundraising and participating in the free learning and volunteer events.
