InstaMed Event: Ophthalmology Session 1

InstaMed is a project created by medical students who are interested in offering interactive, virtual mini-medical school activities.

InstaMed is a project created by medical students of the UA COM-P COVID-19 Student Service Corps who are interested in offering interactive, virtual mini-medical school activities for high school students in Arizona. During this trying time, we want to continue to allow students to pursue their interest in medicine as well as other interprofessional health careers, and with a virtual platform, we are able to reach out to more students than ever before. Our goal is to inspire passion for healthcare careers through introducing high school students to a wide range of health-related topics.This event will occur on Saturday, October 24th, from 10:00am-11:45am via Zoom. The topic of this session is Ophthalmology, where we will review the anatomy of the eye and covering some cases related to eye pathology.Please note: If you are a parent who is scheduling multiple students or siblings, please sign up each student individually.Please fill out our contact form so that we may notify you about future InstaMed events: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSckEn-wPASBdAPhAB_er5n9ENScdG_2pvEybVFUNegSctmTKw/viewformAdditionally, parents will need to complete and return Appendix forms C, D, and F and the Participant Virtual Policy Form for their student to participate in any InstaMed events. These forms are due 2 days prior to the event. If the forms are not returned by the deadline, the student will be unable to participate in the event.
