Let's celebrate that I'm old enough to be President — and I (generally) act that age, too.

In celebration of the fact that I&#x27;m officially old enough to run for President, and that we&#x27;re in the midst of an election and pandemic, I&#x27;m hosting a virtual game night, filled with fun Jackbox games where you&#x27;re encouraged to lie, lobby for horrible things, and say stuff for the sole purpose of shock and awe — you know, what American politics has become.This event is free, and donations are not required, but they are encouraged. This is a nonpartisan event, focused on evening out the playing field in politics by bringing conservatives, progressives and everyone in between together to pass anti-corruption laws that stop bribery, dark money and fix broken elections. However, if there&#x27;s a candidate that you&#x27;d like to donate to, a political group that you know could use a boost, or a community organization that you know needs helps, please enter $0 for this and make a donation on your own time instead.I&#x27;ll also be donating $5 to RepresentUS for every person who gets a ticket and attends.We&#x27;ll be conducting the game night via Google Meet, so you just need a laptop (to watch the on-screen game), WiFi/data and your phone (to play the games). You&#x27;re also welcome to dress for the occasion, whether that means your best pantsuit, an old Halloween mask in the likeness of a President/politician or a top that represents your First Amendment rights, and make the following political-themed cocktails:

Democratic Donkey<ul><li>1 ½ fluid ounces vodka (mocktail version: skip it and add some extra ginger beer)</li><li>½ fluid ounce lime juice</li><li>ice cubes</li><li>½ cup ginger beer</li><li>1 lime wedge for garnish</li><li>cucumber slices for garnish</li></ul>Pour vodka and lime juice into a mug or glass; add ice cubes and ginger beer. Stir to combine and garnish.

White Republican<ul><li>2 fluid ounces vodka (mocktail version: obviously skip)</li><li>1 fluid ounce Kahlúa (mocktail version: replace with 2-4 fluid ounces coffee, decaf or regular)</li><li>1 splash heavy cream (mocktail version: replace with 2-4 fluid ounces of the same or other milk/milk alternative)</li></ul>Add the vodka and Kahlúa to a glass with ice; top with the heavy cream and stir.

Your Vote Matadors<ul><li>1½ fluid ounces tequila (mocktail version: add at least the same amount of club soda after shaking instead)</li><li>2 fluid ounces pineapple juice</li><li>½-1 fluid ounce lime juice</li><li>½ fluid ounce simple syrup</li><li>1 dash of Angostura bitters</li><li>lime disc for garnish</li></ul>Add ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice; shake and strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a lime disc.

On the Champagne Trail<ul><li>2 fluid ounces gin (mocktail version: obviously skip)</li><li>1 teaspoon fine sugar or 1 sugar cube </li><li>½ fluid ounce lemon juice</li><li>5 fluid ounces brut champagne (mocktail version: sparkling cider)</li></ul>Shake gin, lemon juice, and sugar well with cracked ice in a chilled cocktail shaker. Strain into a glass and top off with champagne. Garnish with lemon peel.

Ginsburg Basil Smash the Patriarchy<ul><li>2 fluid ounces gin (mocktail version: add double to triple the club soda after shaking instead, depending on sweetness preference)</li><li>1 fluid ounce fresh lemon juice</li><li>1 fluid ounce simple syrup</li><li>10 basil leaves (to be muddled)</li><li>basil sprig for garnish</li></ul>Muddle basil leaves with lemon juice and simple syrup; add ice and gin and shake. Double-strain into a chilled cocktail glass with ice. Garnish with a basil sprig.
