How does land use affect the health and quality of our region&#x27;s waterways? And why is a &quot;watershed mindset&quot; so important? Ms. Ann Regn and Dr. Tamira Cohen of the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality will delve into these questions and more, as we learn about the connection between land use, stormwater, and non-point source pollution. Join us, and bring a scrap of paper or tin foil for an interactive exercise!<h3>About the 2020 Conservation Games</h3>Join Team Fields, Team Forests, or Team Streams as these teams compete in the 2020 Conservation Games, a multi-week celebration and fundraising experience to support the conservation work of Capital Region Land Conservancy in the Richmond region. Participants earn points for their team by fundraising and participating in the free learning and volunteer events.
