Galapagos Charter Lower Academy

Galapagos Charter School is working hard in closing the achievement gap, but to ensure that all of our in person and remote scholars are growing academically we administer a MAP Growth Assessment that assesses where your scholar is currently performing at. This assessment will be administered 2-3 times a year to help give us data that we can use to close the achievement gap. This year we will be continuing this assessments, but will be needing you to bring your scholar to school to be assessed. We have created options for you to chose from, but will need to have all scholars sign up for 2 sessions. These sessions will take about 2 hours. They will be assessed in ELA and Math. Your instructor will be able to provide you this data at the quarter 1 conference. We are taking every safety precaution to ensure that our school is preventing the spread of COVID-19. Staff will be checking temperatures, insuring social distancing and that masks are on the entire testing session. Staff will be sanitizing between sessions and ensuring that everyone is safe in the building. Please choose 2 testing sessions that your scholar will be attending.
