What is the attire for the event?

Dress Code: Come As You Are or Dress to Impress! Whether you feel like dressing up for a night out or keeping it casual, we welcome you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. This is a fun and festive celebration—come as you are and enjoy the night!

Can I bring children to the event?

As much as we love the kiddos, this is an adult-only event. We chose an evening time to maximize attendance from our category finalists, many of whom are busy serving families during kid-friendly hours. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Question 3

Will there be food and drink?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We’ll have a selection of charcuterie, craft pizza, and various desserts for you to enjoy at no additional charge. A cash bar (accepting both cash and credit) will also be available.

What is your refund policy?

Due to food orders, we cannot offer a refund.  If you have extenuating circumstances, please feel free to reach out so we can connect.

What additional donation options will there be at the event?

In an effort to support multiple local causes at this year's event, we are working to organize an event raffle as well as a silent auction.

Can our local business host a vendor table?

Our vendor space will be limited this year and while a few vendor spots may become available here on eventbrite, it is looking like most will be reserved for qualifying event sponsors. Please email lisa@realmainemom.com with any interest or to be added to the waitlist.

Question 7

Is this event only for businesses & networking?

Accepted Answer

We expect that the majority of attendees will be local business owners and their staff and/or representatives, so while it is not specifically a networking event, it is a great place to make valuable connections with the local business community.  Any adult is welcome to attend.

Is this event only for award winners?

Accepted Answer

No way! Even if you’re not up for an award or or unsure about winning, the Kids Pick Awards is a great chance to celebrate & connect with local businesses. Our event is a celebration of all of the kid-friendly businesses in and around Greater Portland.
