Join us for this informational workshop on The Biology of Grief as we discuss how grief can impact our biological systems.

This group is intended for community members who reside in Middle TN, and family members of Alive Hospice patients regardless of location.Grief is a full body experience, and we will explore the body’s natural response to stress, identify the manifestations of grief, review the impact of grief on the body, understand of the needs of the bereaved, and identify healthy coping strategies.Thanks to the generosity of our donors, this group is provided free of charge. A suggested donation of $5 per session is appreciated. Groups are held using the Zoom meeting platform. Participants will be asked to have their video and audio on during the group which will allow you to interact with facilitators and attendees. Unlike traditional webinars, we’re keeping our groups small and intimate in an effort to create community and combat the isolation that typically accompanies grief. Attendees will receive an email from the facilitator before the event with more information.
