Improv Gym with Nova Comedy

This weekly drop-in class aims to allow members of the improv community to get practice time with a variety of other members, with or without improv experience. The goal is to strengthen the community, increase improv ‘reps’, and provide a safe space for exploration.

At The Nova Comedy Collective, this is a LAUNCH CLASS - meaning it's the perfect place to start your journey, and absolutely no prior experience is necessary!

Improv Gym is more fun with a plus-one!
Bring a friend, co-worker, or curious stranger—the more, the merrier. It’s a great way to try something new together (and maybe laugh a little too hard in the process).

About the Location
This class is located at The Cambridge Foundry, in a room called The Point. If you head in through the front of the Foundry, you'll see a staircase straight ahead. The room is right at the top of the stairs! An elevator to the second level is also available. And if you need help, you can ask at the front table - The Foundry staff is ready to help!

Improv Gym is a pick-your-price event! Tickets are available at any price, including Free! Reach out to us if you need a free ticket.
A suggested donation of $10 per ticket helps us maintain our space rental and pay our instructors a fair rate.

What Comes After the Gym?
Improv Gym is just the start. Participants who attend regularly will have opportunities to perform in community showcases and Nova Comedy Collective productions.
