Kids' Day: Animal Mania

Join us for a wild and exciting kids day filled with nature walks, games, and more! Discover different animals found here at the Preserve or in Delaware by examining some natural artifacts and model animal skulls! Put your animal knowledge to the test by playing a matching game and a camouflage game!

Participants will spend the majority of the program walking along the Preserve’s trails. We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes for comfort and safety. Please bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellent, as the Preserve can be buggy at times.

Important Notes:

Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

This program is weather permitting.

Attendance is free, but registration is encouraged. We reserve the right to turn away walk-ups if necessary.

For the privacy and comfort of our participants, staff, and volunteers, video or audio recording is not permitted during our programs. Guests are welcome to take photographs, but we ask that you do so in a way that respects the privacy of others. Thank you for helping us keep our programs safe and welcoming for everyone.
