Since 1999, the DC Independent Film Festival (DCIFF) — the oldest independent film festival in Washington, DC — has showcased bold features, documentaries, shorts, animation, and experimental works from around the world. Reimagined in 2022 as an Annual Film Forum, DCIFF connects filmmakers and audiences through conversation, networking, and innovative programming in the Nation’s Capital.

DCIFF  brings the annual forum of films, workshops and discussions  to celebrate established and emerging talent in fiction, documentary and animation filmmaking. DCIFF --- keeping a truly independent spirit alive in the DMV for 26 years!

Overview: In September of 2001, Chloe, a college senior at a school in lower Manhattan, tests positive for HIV. Over the weeks that follow, she struggles to deal with her diagnosis, past trauma, and an uncertain future. As her estranged stepfather Doug attempts to reconnect and classmate Trevor shyly tries to gain her affection, Chloe pulls further away until making a terrifying discovery about one of her classmates.Director Brady Bryson: After his parents brought him to see a screening of Martin Scorsese's "Taxi Driver" (He was six at the time) Brady decided that he was going to become a director. He promptly began creating stop-motion films and had graduated to iPad based production until, after a chance encounter with Rob Reiner, he decided to become an actor first. During their brief conversation Mr. Reiner convinced Brady that in order to better understand what he was asking the actors to do on screen it would be best if he understood what it was like to be on the other side of the lens. Brady started with roles in short films, television and off-Broadway theatre. He studied Meisner with Jim Parrack at Playhouse West Brooklyn Lab and trained with James Franco, Kathleen Turner, Ally Sheedy and Leven Rambin among others. A graduate of the College of Preforming Arts (COPA) at the New School (BFA May 2022). Brady is an MFA candidate attending NYU Tisch at the school of Dramatic Writing. Brady is currently working on several projects through his mr.weirdbob production company.
