Canopy + the Roots

LIVE flute from 2x Native American Music Award Winner, Ryan Little Eagle with a one-hour yoga basics in the upper-most football field in Yahoola Creek Park. We will then proceed to Canopy + the Roots for a meditation in art class taught by Edvique of "Living My Now", Canton, Ga.A little about Edvique and her practice of meditation:Her coaching practice has been shaped by her personal experience, using DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and art, to personally heal. Her formal studies are in Education, Feng Shui, Intentional Creativity, Mindfulness Meditation and Life Coaching and last but not least, her experience working with teens and women for over 20 years."Intuitive painting is very much a process of letting go and self-discovery. It’s a process, challenging at times but by trusting the process, hanging in and pushing thorough, our critical noise becomes quieter and we open ourselves to being able to tune into the whispers of our souls. During the process, we discover beliefs that might be limiting us and interfering with our dreams. We learn to challenge and replace those limited beliefs for empowering ones. We learn to regulate our emotions so that we don’t reach a point of total distress, which is where we revert to old sabotaging patterns and compulsive behaviors. Art speaks where words can’t."Tickets include the outdoor yoga class, any coffee beverage and a baked good, and meditation in art workshop at Canopy + the Roots. Limited to twenty students.
