And become one!Learn and practice how to be an effective listener so you can begin attracting and nurturing deeper connections with your loved ones and people around you.We’ll dive into the power of true listening. Through engaging exercises, you’ll learn how common listening modes we often use are not only ineffective but can actually act as communication blockers and prevent good listening. You will learn a recipe on how to improve such a powerful skill, and be someone who really knows how to make others feel heard and validated.We will explore and experience different kinds of listening and help participants discover what their day-to-day listening mode feels like. We will add several other listening modes to your toolbelt.This is a highly interactive workshop. You will be working in pairs and practicing skills.Imagine a world where every conversation leaves us feeling seen, heard, and understood. About the Presenter:Maria Winters, LCPC is a licensed mental health therapist, a published author, a mom, a chocolate lover, and a trained life coach. She is the founder and owner of The Coaching Therapist, LLC - a practice dedicated to offering workshops and training on different topics related to emotional and mental wellbeing.Maria has over 20 years offering mental health support to adults and adolescents. She is the creator of The Emotional Fitness Studio in Annapolis.
