This year, we will hire Dynamic Multilingual to provide interpreting services in Spanish &amp; Haitian Creole. We are being ambitious to better serve our community as we provided Spanish interpreting as the need was there. Last year, we provided it in Spanish with the help of community volunteers, but we found that it prolonged our event since we had to wait for it to be interpreted. Our goal is to make this event enjoyable, effective, and amazingly impactful. This conference will focus on bringing the community together to focus on ways the Rockland County community could thrive. “Embrace, Empower &amp; Embody” is the theme of the conference. We want young people to learn that serving communities is a necessity that conserves our communities. Education is key to community development as we connect families to relevant resources and support systems. Empowering our youth and families is the tool that we can use to fulfill, enrich, revive, and thrive within this community.We will have community leaders, members, and service providers facilitating workshops and serving by sharing their gifts and knowledge for the purpose of educating caregivers and our young people. We aim for participants to feel empowered to walk with confidence and break through glass ceilings by learning about community resources and advocacy efforts designed to help families and youth.This conference will:<ol><li>Create a nurturing experience with meaningful conversations</li><li>Inspire to explore new opportunities</li><li>Empowerment to assist in making choices to enhance lives</li><li>Connect participants with resources that will help them achieve their goals</li><li>Provide networking opportunities for all attendees.
