<p>Do you want to improve your coding and refactoring skills but you don&#x27;t know where to start?</p><h3>This webinar is for you if</h3><ul><li>You feel that you could write better code, but you could use some fresh ideas and an energy infusion.</li><li>You can tell what good code looks like but you aren&#x27;t sure how to do it yourself.</li></ul><ul><li>You just want to learn a bit more about how to craft good code.</li></ul><h3>What to expect?</h3><p>Victor will share his screen while refactoring code for, explaining the steps along the way.   The session will be run in English and it&#x27;s open for free to any interested developers. The code is in Java,  but for this exercise, Victor will not use any features specific to the Java language, so developers in any programming language are welcome.</p><p><strong>Among the topics we&#x27;ll discuss:

</p><p>- &quot;Feature Envy&quot; code smell
</p><p>- Pragmatic coding in Java
</p><p>- Identifying and designing by the Single Responsibility Principle (SRP)
</p><p>- Safe Refactoring techniques
</p><p>- Effective usage of IntelliJ editor, with lots of tips and tricks
</p><p>- Mutable vs Immutable data structures
