The Power With Grace

Help to raise money for the Ceres Community Project in honor of Shel's birthday!

Ceres Community Project supports primarily low-income people struggling because of a serious health challenge with free and low-cost, home-delivered, nourishing organic meals, nutrition education and the caring support of the community. All the meals Ceres provides are prepared by youth ages 14 and up who volunteer in our ¾ acre food production garden and three commercial kitchen sites in Marin and Sonoma Counties.Ceres is trying to raise $245,000 for their clients and youth, and they are halfway there. Thank you for donating and dancing for a great cause! Happy birthday to one of our dancers, Shel, who chose this organization and whose daughter has been volunteering every week to help in the San Rafael kitchen since last December. IMPORTANT NOTES:1) After registering, you will get a unique Zoom URL (different each class) in the confirmation page and in your email. SAVE IT and please don't share it.2) Ideally, have Zoom set up on your desktop computer, otherwise, make sure you have the Zoom app downloaded on your phone. Things that have worked for people: - avoid streaming, i.e. airpods and airplay have known to cause delay - if you want to hook to your TV, use a HDMI cable, or connect your computer directly to your router with an ethernet cable- find a spot in your house that has good internet connection (ideally dance in the same room as your router)- reboot your modem/router if you are having freezing/slow issues, or close your own Zoom video if there is a delay- close all other applications that may be using bandwidth and minimize internet usage in the rest of your house (i.e. television, kids on devices, etc)3) At least 15 minutes before class begins, click on the URL and login to class - give yourself plenty of time to troubleshoot especially if you have never used Zoom before!4) Before class begins, we can say hello and chat, but once class begins, PLEASE MUTE YOURSELF. 5) Unfortunately there are occasional choppy moments depending on your internet connection. But I promise, it is still super fun!I AM SO EXCITED TO DANCE WITH YOU!!!
