Celebrate LGBTQ Film and Filmmakers at the 13th anniversary of Cinema Diverse!Drive-In Special Event: BREAKING FASTMo, a practicing Muslim living in West Hollywood, is learning to navigate life post heartbreak. Enter Kal, an All-American guy who surprises Mo by offering to break fast with him during the holy month of Ramadan. As they learn more about each other, they fall in love over what they have in common and what they don’t. The genesis of the feature film came about from overwhelming positive response to the short film of the same name from writer/director Mike Mosallam. &quot;My intention is to tell a story that speaks to the nuances of daily life and treats identity: religious, sexual, gender and otherwise, as harmonious lenses by which individuals interact with the world.&quot; - Writer/Director Mike MosallamWe believe LGBTQ+ films and LGBTQ+ film festivals are critical to our local community, and to the world community, because they tell stories that remind us of where we came from, who we are, and who we can be.They tell stories that not only inform and transform those within our community, but also have the power to change the lives and attitudes of people outside our community.Socially Responsible + Nostalgic Fun: The Palm Springs Cultural Center Drive-In Experience invites to step back in time under the starlit Palm Springs night and re-live the magic of yesteryear with a modern pop-up cinematic twist!PLEASE READ:- If you are exhibiting any of the COVID-19 symptoms and/ or are waiting on test results from a possible Covid-19 exposure- DO NOT ATTEND THE EVENT-a full refund will be issued for the event once you have let us know. - FM Rentals are 1 per car/ table.- Reservations are for a section ( such as picnic table/ premium etc.) Upon arrival- when you check in with an attendant you will choose your spot within that section appropriately physically distanced from another vehicle. Physical spots will fill in on a first come- first serve basis within the section you purchased.- Please be considerate of other attendees view path when choosing your vehicle size.- It&#x27;s not just hot! It&#x27;s super hot. If you decide to turn your car on to cool off- great! But if you can within reason limit your time in consideration of fellow attendees sitting outside due to the ambient noise created by the engines- that would be super awesome. Thank you. Space is limited- Reserve your experience today!CHOOSE FROM:Section 1: BYOChair- Bring your own chair for an up close and personal outdoor &quot;reclined&quot; experience. Section 2: Picnic Tables- Seat you and your close friends and family outside near the screen at a picnic table- comes with an FM Radio. Tables seats 6 comfortably. Does not include a parked car viewing spot- cars must be parked on side lot where directed on arrival. Section 3: Front Row Car Spots- Park your car in the front two car rows. FM Radio not included- $5 FM Radios available for rent.Section 4: Standard Car Spots- Park your car in the middle two car rows. FM Radio not included- $5 FM Radios available for rent. DRIVE-IN LOT OPENS AT 7:00 PM! FILM SCREENS 5 min after sundown.
