As part of the NAPAWF Bay Area Intergenerational Salon Series, a focus on intergenerational trauma and AANHPI women and folks.

Each Salon will focus on a top-voted topic from the Chapter membership, designed to explore and learn from our most valuable of assets—our community. This salon will focus on exploring intergenerational trauma and wellness among AANHPI women &amp; folks. Generations of AANHPI folks have experienced intergenerational trauma and seen it manifest in different ways among our communities. Please join us for a participatory discussion, with guest Ivy Kwong, LMFT, as we explore questions, such as: - What is intergenerational trauma? What are some ways it can manifest?- How can we begin to stop the cycle, heal and forgive from intergenerational trauma?- How can we promote mental health and wellness within ourselves and the AANHPI community?Guest speaker Ivy Kwong, LFMT, is a first-generation Asian American Licensed Marriage &amp; Family Therapist, Life &amp; Relationship Coach, Speaker, and Author who offers trauma-informed, identity-affirming, and social justice-minded therapy and coaching for individuals with a holistic, intuitive, and collaborative approach.
