The login information will be emailed to you the day before the seminar.The UNO Office of Research is hosting an information session about the National Science Foundation&#x27;s (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) and the Department of Defense&#x27;s (DoD) National Defense Science &amp; Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship Program.The NSF GRFP is the nation&#x27;s flagship program directly supporting graduate students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. The GRFP provides up to 2,000 fellowships for graduate study that leads to a research-based master&#x27;s or doctoral degree in STEM or STEM education. Individuals are selected early in their graduate careers based on their demonstrated potential for significant achievements in science and engineering. Benefits of the GRFP include an annual stipend of $34,000. The NDSEG fellowship provides stipends, prorated monthly based on a 12-month academic year. Stipend amounts are determined for each Fellowship class by the DoD. The monthly stipend is $3,200 ($38,400 annually) for fellowship tenure.
