ABOUT THIS PROJECTDiscrimination and exclusion touch many across genders, disabilities, creed and colour. A sense of belonging and inclusion may also be a struggle for many now as we deal with the impacts of Covid-19.We want to hear first-hand about those impacts and what needs to change so that our Strategy for Belonging and Inclusion is formed based on our communities’ collective voices.This project was developed around the powerful and beautiful concepts of connection, kinship and belonging. It is about an Aotearoa New Zealand founded on the partnership of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, a vision of a place that provides for all.To achieve that vision, the development of a Diversity &amp; Inclusion Strategy will bring diverse groups together in a way that will empower communities to build and strengthen actions at a regional and local level.WHY WE'RE DOING THISBelonging is a human need that improves mental well-being and physical health.
