Join the Mill Creek Alliance and our partners this fall for the 8th Annual Upper Mill Creek Cleanup.On Saturday, October 24th, we'll clean up the Mill Creek by land and canoe. Land volunteers will meet at the MCA restoration site called <a href="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/58ae18e415d5dbf3a84e3367/t/59e019ef37c5816636181a9c/1507858932276/tcp_factsheetsmall_0731.pdf" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Twin Creek Preserve</a> in Sharonville at 9:00 a.m. where folks will organize to tackle various projects on the Upper Mill Creek watershed. Canoe volunteers, registered in pairs, will meet and launch from the Mill Creek at 8:00 a.m.The cleanups will occur in and along the stream, so be prepared for walking through thick brush and getting muddy. Please dress appropriately and wear closed toe footwear. The land cleanup is suitable for people of all ages and activity levels. Canoe volunteer spaces are limited and available only to members of the public age 18 or older. All cleanup crews will meet back at Twin Creek Preserve around noon to unload their spoils, enjoy some food and refreshments, and tell grand stories of their exploits.In an effort to stay safe during the COVID19 pandemic, we ask that you consider coming alone, with your family, or in groups you feel safe with. Participants should wear masks, stay at home if they are not feeling well or have been exposed to someone with COVID19, and/or expect to answer a few safety questions and have their temperature taken before signing in the day of the event.Don’t miss this opportunity to help keep your streams clean and communities beautiful!Please RSVP by registering here.
