At Mikva Challenge&#x27;s virtual National Youth Issues Summit, participants will have an opportunity to make their voice heard about the issues they care about most in this election, as well as listen to and learn from their peers’ experiences and concerns about top issues that candidates&#x27; should be addressing in this election. Mikva Challenge is a nonprofit that develop youth to be empowered, informed, and active citizens who will promote a just and equitable society - learn more at www.mikvachallenge.org.At this event, you will be inspired by impactful performances, feel connected to a national community of your peers, be engaged in powerful dialogue about how youth are being impacted by hot button issues, and elevate your voice to elected officials about what you want to see change to improve this current state of the country. You will have an interactive, powerful discussion with a group of your peers from across the nation about a pressing issue impacting young people that you believe candidates and elected officials need to address right now. You will get to select the top 3 issues that you are most passionate about during registration, including Education, Racial Justice, Climate Change, Immigration, Health Care, Jobs &amp; Economy, Criminal Justice &amp; Gun Policy, Civil Rights &amp; Civil Liberties, Women’s Rights, Housing, or you can write your own in. During the event, you will get to know other students, have a dynamic group discussion, prepare and then deliver a creative group pitch to elected officials and your peers in response to the following prompt: What should candidates/ elected officials know about how young people are impacted by the issue, and what should they do about it?
