<p>Concetta Maratta is a technology leader responsible for the strategic direction of infrastructure, systems, security and support across the entire ABC News IT environment. Nearly every piece of technology used at ABC News, from editing to graphics to video contribution, requires the expertise and skills of the IT team. Concetta is an accomplished technologist with an M.S. in Technology Management from Columbia University and a B.S. in Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.   </p>

<h2>Matt Varney, VP Technology &amp; Operations, KXAS-KXTX Dallas </h2>

<p>Matt Varney is a VP of Technology &amp; Operations with the NBCU Owned Television Stations focused on helping them harness technology, develop leaders and equip teams in their mission to engage viewers with the people, places and events that matter to them most. </p><p>Matt believes in challenging the status quo and getting people excited about where new technical possibilities intersect with business opportunities &amp; challenges. And of course, building cool new things.</p><p>Over 16 years with NBCU, Matt has worked with some of the best teams in the industry designing and implementing state of the art technologies for modern news and production workflows. His projects include the design and buildout of The Studios at DFW, a 75,000 square-foot news facility that is home to KXAS-NBC, KXTX-Telemundo and LX, the division's TV and OTT network for millennials and Gen Z-ers. Varney also recently oversaw the implementation of the division's ST-2110 based, virtualized "Production Cloud" infrastructure in DFW, which remotely hosts live local news production for multiple stations across the county. </p><p>Matt knows that while progress is made at the bleeding edge, it's the teams you cultivate that can turn the bleeding into leading.</p>

<h2>Jared Timmins, SVP Solutions, TVU Networks </h2>

<p>Jared Timmins is SVP of Solutions and leads the TVU Global Solutions Team. He brings 15 years of sales, account strategy and technology solutions experience in the broadcast industry. Prior to joining TVU, Jared held several senior level positions at Grass Valley with his most recent as vice president of advanced technologies. He's also held senior strategic sales roles at Piksel and Miranda Technologies.</p>

<h2>Shawn Snider, VP Production Workflow &amp; Cloud Services, Ross Video </h2>

<p>As Vice President for Ross Video’s Production Workflow &amp; Cloud Services, Shawn Snider is responsible for shaping the product, managing marketing and sales efforts, business partners, and providing leadership and guidance on future product roadmaps.</p><p>Shawn joined Ross Video in 2007, where he started his career in broadcast as a designer on the OverDrive Automated Production Control System. Over the years, he took on additional responsibilities, including the design and architecture of Ross Video’s Inception, and ultimately the company’s web technology platform. During his years in the R&amp;D group, Shawn was consistently interfacing with customers and business partners, as well as speaking on behalf of the company at industry and technology events. He is also an active contributor and speaker at MOS committee meetings, proposing and heading up the new HTML5 design specification.</p><p></p>
