Fostering Hope (FH) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that works toward a healing home for every child in Texas. We do this by equipping families, churches and organizations to transform the lives of children.

Children who have experienced trauma need parents who understand how their history has impacted their present.

Fostering Hope Austin Family Center 

<p>They might need a different style of parenting than what we are used to or than how we were parented. In this session we will learn the importance of connected and attachment parenting and practical techniques to start our journey in parenting a child from a hard place.  Our parent coaching sessions are workshops with a small number of participants.    Bring your specific questions as our parent trainer will be able to give more one on one answers due to the small number of participants in the group. </p><p>Foster parents can request a certificate of attendance for continuing education hours.  This is an online training. </p>
