The Thomas R. Brown Foundation seeks to advance the use of economic principles in public and private decision making through strategic partnerships and educational programs. Our program goal is to equip teachers to increase student exposure to fundamental principles of economics in a neutral and nonpartisan way, and to help students develop an appreciation of how economic analysis applies to everyday choices as well as business and policy issues.

<p>Dismal science no more! Join us to learn about five strategies you can use to creatively teach and reinforce economics concepts using the cartoons found in <em>The Cartoon Introduction to Economics </em>(Volume 1: Microeconomics; Volume 2: Macroeconomics) co-authored and illustrated by Yoram Bauman, Ph.D and Grady Klein. Registration is limited to 95 educators working in middle school or high school classrooms. All attendees will receive a digital edition of Volume 1 or Volume 2 according to their preference.</p>
