This in-depth training is for those interested in an introduction to the process and components of living shorelines in Delaware.

The 2-day, in-person event boasts multiple instructors from: <a href="https://www.usace.army.mil/" title="https://www.usace.army.mil/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">USACOE</a>, <a href="https://www.fws.gov/" title="https://www.fws.gov/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">USFWS</a>, <a href="https://dnrec.alpha.delaware.gov/" title="https://dnrec.alpha.delaware.gov/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control</a>, private consulting firms, and non-profit organizations. Topics to be covered include: types of living shorelines, site evaluation, design, permitting, plants, habitat creation, example projects, and site visits.Attending both days of the training is required, coffee/snacks/lunch and training binder are included. Registration is $35.
