Chicago Human Rhythm Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that empowers artists and communities to express culture and identity through rhythm and percussive arts. Through the production of inspiring performances, education programs, and innovative business models for artistic collaboration, CHRP catalyzes diverse communities to foster social reconciliation and economic sustainability through rhythm.Mayfair Arts Center-Shared Dance/Arts SpaceThe MAC serves more independent artists, more small to medium-sized dance companies and more children, teens, adults and elders - through classes, performances and business development services. The MAC honors the 63+ year legacy of Tommy and Peggy Sutton's Mayfair Academy - a true South Side institution.

Chicago Human Rhythm Project joyfully presents RHYTHM WORLD 29.5 with a mix of live streamed, attended and recorded performances and classes August 10 – 15 featuring extraordinary foot and body drummers from around the world!Students can register here by choosing a CLASS PASS (see below for class pass options)! Classes are recorded and will become &quot;live&quot; and available for viewing Friday morning, August 14 at 10 AM CST. Classes will remain available for THREE WEEKS until September 7. Registration for classes will close August 28. This year&#x27;s global faculty of master teachers includes Sam Weber, Linda Sohl-Ellison, Ted Louis Levy, Yukiko Misumi, Valeria Pinheiro, Lane Alexander. Tre Dumas, Guillem Alonso Alcalay, Roser Font Caminal, Charles Renato, Salvo Russo and Step Afrika! artist Pelham Warner!Whether you’re watching a live streamed performance from Chicago’s historic Jazz Showcase, attending a percussive dance showcase and mixed-form improv tournament at Navy Pier’s Lake Stage or learning from master teachers, everyone can find a way to enjoy this year’s adaptive festival!
