11/5 Plaster Repair Workshop

Michigan Historic Preservation Network

Based on popular request, the Michigan Historic Preservation Network is pleased to offer a hands-on plaster workshop in Hamtramck. The workshop will take place in a gorgeous former bank building that is currently being rehabbed. Participants will learn about the composition of historic plaster and the fundamentals of plaster repair and restoration, as well as maintenance tips to keep your home looking great well into the future. Participants will also have the chance to try their hands at various methods for repairing and restoring plaster surfaces.
We are pleased to offer 2 sessions: 9am-1pm OR 1:30pm-5:30pm. 
Limit 12 participants at each session.
$20 ticket price includes lunch and materials. Lunch served at 1pm.
The plaster workshop will be held on the 2nd floor of Bank Suey on 10345 Joseph Campau.
There is free street parking on Caniff, as well as metered parking on Joseph Campau. There is also a free municipal lot just north of Caniff on Mackay Street.
