Welcome to Edmonds International Women's Day!Over the last several decades the pressure on women to “have it all” has not only impacted how we balance our lives but also our mental health.The Edmonds Waterfront Center is excited to host the 7th Annual Edmonds International Women’s Day. Join us for brunch, breakout sessions and networking opportunities. This year’s theme, Accelerate Action Through Women’s Health, highlights the growing need for women’s health equity and well-being in today’s fast-paced world. We will have leading health experts discuss women’s overall health.Join us for brunch with inspiring speakers followed by breakout sessions. We will be closing the day with a hosted Happy Hour and opportunity to connect with the amazing women at the event ~ All are included in the price of your ticket!Mark your calendars and join us at Edmonds International Women's Day.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER:Atousa Salehi MD, MBA, FACEPChief Science Officer, Executive Office of Health &amp; Science, Washington State Department of HealthDr. Salehi initially joined DOH as the inaugural Chief of the Office of Global and One Health, where she established and led efforts to integrate global-to-local and One Health frameworks into the State’s public health strategy. In her current role as Chief Science Officer, Dr. Salehi leads the Executive Office of Health &amp; Science, overseeing scientific and evidence-based strategies that drive Washington’s public health priorities. A champion of interdisciplinary collaboration, she actively fosters cross-sector partnerships to translate scientific advancements into real-world impact. Her work continues to bridge public health with service delivery, and ensures Washington remains at the forefront of evidence-based, equity-driven, and future-ready health initiatives.

CLOSING SPEAKER:Besa GordonVibrant host of Back2Besa, on FOX 13 Seattle and nationwide on FOX Soul, and the FOX Local App, produced by Converge MediaKnown for her energetic, and relatable style, Besa spotlights local restaurants, changemakers, and community foundations, all while uplifting the Black community in the Pacific Northwest. Her show is a dynamic blend of culture, empowerment, and fun, with a special focus on inspiring the youth. With roots in radio and a loving reputation as the round-the-way girl from Seattle’s Central District, Besa’s authenticity shines through in everything she does. Her audience loves how real and relatable she is, always feeling like they’re right there with her on the journey.
