<h2><strong>The Urban League of Broward County is excited to announce our first Virtual  Job Fair. The Virtual Job Fair is free and open to our online community. </strong></h2><h2><strong>The Job Fair will be held via zoom platform on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm. </strong></h2><h2><strong>Upon completion of your registration for the job fair, you will be emailed the link and password to access the job fair.</strong></h2><h2><strong>Please come online to learn about current job opportunities with Allied Universal , Ultimate Software, and City Furniture.</strong></h2><h2></h2><h2><strong>Tips to Prepare for a Virtual Job Fair:</strong></h2><h2><strong>Check Your Technology:</strong></h2><h2><strong>Be sure to test your computer settings prior to attending the virtual job fair so that you can focus on letting your skills shine without technical interruptions.</strong></h2><h2><strong>Get Dressed:</strong></h2><h2><strong>Plan to dress for the virtual job fair as you would if you were attending an in-person job fair. “Be sure to set yourself up for success not only with your technology, but also with your professional attire. </strong></h2><h2><strong>Background:</strong></h2><h2><strong>You can attend the virtual job fair from anywhere; however, you should log on from a home office or stage your background so it looks professional. </strong></h2><h2><strong>Research the Companies:</strong></h2><h2><strong>You’ll still need to treat a virtual job fair just as you would as an in-person one.
