VALENTINE'S DAY SIP & SEW: HEART SHAPED TOTE BAG

Join us in one of our hands-on courses that will teach you the foundational skills needed to construct simple textile items including home goods and apparel. Our classes are  perfect for the aspiring sewist who is curious to try sewing or the self-taught sewist who would like to increase their knowledge and technical skill set!

Rightfully Sewn

We will be having some heart shaped fun on February 14th with our Beginner Sew & Sip: Heart Shaped Tote class & we’d LOVE to have you there!

Rightfully Sewn (Interim Location)

Join us for this extra special beginner sewing class where we will teach you how to sew a heart shaped tote bag that you get to decorate afterwards! We will provide everything you need to make &amp; decorate your tote including fabric, appliques, ribbons, buttons, paints and more. Plus, there will be some snacks, drinks, &amp; music to enjoy while you work on your one of a kind tote!*Please note you need to have some sewing machine experience to take this class* Students will:<ul><li>Cut, sew, and decorate a heart shaped tote bag;</li><li>Learn sewing vocabulary, including sewing machine parts and apparel construction terminology;</li><li>work on Janome HD-3000 and School Mate 7330 straight-stitch home sewing machines and Janome and Babylock home sergers.</li><li>Learn basic techniques to create sewn products, including how to pin and cut fabric and order of operations for construction; and</li><li>Receive a complimentary Rightfully Sewn sewing pattern to continue sewing at home.</li></ul>
