Come out and learn the science of food and healthy nutritous snacks that children and families can make at home.

X8 Lab

Join the biggest names in STEM programing in the county as they partner for a Family Food Science Night. 4-H and ETI will meet at X8 Labs at the Hub in Pembroke to offer families a free opportunity. Youth will get to learn about agriculture and food science as we make our own butter in a jar and pop pocorn right from the cob.Parents at the same time you will be working with our Extension Staff as they share with you fun, economical, and nutritious snacks that children and can make home.We will meet on March 20, at 6 PM at X8 labs which is located at The Hub in Pembroke and dinner will be provided for your family. We ask that you register each family member so we can make sure to have enough food and supplies for the event.This event is for families with youth ages 8 and up. Please note this is not a drop off event for youth, parent or guardins are required to attend with them. For those registering and not attending, please note you will be responsible for paying the costs associated with your families participation (supplies, etc.).
