The Thomas R. Brown Foundation seeks to advance the use of economic principles in public and private decision making through strategic partnerships and educational programs. Our program goal is to equip teachers to increase student exposure to fundamental principles of economics in a neutral and nonpartisan way, and to help students develop an appreciation of how economic analysis applies to everyday choices as well as business and policy issues.

<p>Digital breakouts, or digital escape rooms, are a creative way to teach and reinforce economics concepts. If your students like educational games and puzzles you should join us for  the second installment in our series Tech Tools for Teaching Economics. Master teacher Amy Krzyzanowski will share a digital breakout she created on supply and demand and show you how to create breakout challenges you can use in face-to-face and remote instruction. Materials will be most appropriate for middle and high school educators. Participants will receive a certificate of professional development as well as digital resources. Three attendees will win a one-year Breakout EDU license!</p>
