Attention Marion County families! Join us for a special backpack and school supply giveaway hosted by the Paddock Mall Saturday, Aug. 8.

*PRE-REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 10 P.M. FRIDAY, AUG. 7. If you are not able to register in advance, you must attend the event Saturday, Aug. 8 and register in person inside the Paddock Mall in front of Macy&#x27;s between 8 and 11 a.m. Thank you!Join us for a special backpack and school supply giveaway Saturday, Aug. 8th from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Paddock Mall. Thanks to our generous sponsors and community partners, AdventHealth Ocala, Bullard Family Foundation, Grandview Clydesdales, Ocala Electric Utility, Ocala Gazette, Public Education Foundation of Marion County, and REVO Church, we are excited to provide backpacks stuffed with school supplies to local students this year. This event is free and open to families with K-12 students attending Marion County Public Schools. At the event, AdventHealth Ocala will be providing temperature checks and hand sanitizer to all guests entering the event space, as well as those picking up backpacks and school supplies inside the mall. Masks will also be required for guests in attendance. IMPORTANT: As you complete your child&#x27;s registration, under the ticket &quot;add on&quot; section, please select how you would like to receive your child&#x27;s backpack: 1) Pick Up at Paddock Mall (Inside the Mall - Saturday, Aug. 8)2) Pick Up at Paddock Mall (Outside in a Drive-Thru - Saturday, Aug. 8) - SOLD OUT3) Delivery to Your Child&#x27;s MCPS School (First Week of School) Please note, if you have multiple children in your household who are eligible to receive a backpack and school supplies, you must complete separate registrations. Backpacks and school supplies will be distributed based on grade level, so please be sure to select your student&#x27;s correct grade level as you complete registration.
