Previously Artistic Director at Amant in Brooklyn, she has also held roles at the Rose Art Museum and REDCAT in Los Angeles. Estévez has curated major exhibitions like the 34th São Paulo Biennial and The Words of Others for The Getty’s Pacific Standard Time initiative. She founded LIGA, Space for Architecture in Mexico City, and has taught at institutions including Universidad Iberoamericana and MICA.Lumi Tan is a curator and writer based in New York. She served as Senior Curator at The Kitchen from 2011 to 2023, where she organized exhibitions and performances with artists like Sondra Perry, Kevin Beasley, and Anicka Yi. Previously, she held curatorial roles at MoMA PS1, Luna Luna, FRAC Nord Pas de Calais, and Zach Feuer Gallery. Tan has also contributed writing to publications such as Artforum, Frieze, and Mousse. She has been a visiting critic and lecturer at institutions like Yale University, Bard College, and Columbia University. Part of Deli Radio<a href="https://www.recessart.org/projects/254-deli-radio" title="https://www.recessart.org/projects/254-deli-radio" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Deli Radio</a> aims to foster connection and shared experiences at a time when communal spaces feel essential. About Deli RadioThe experience begins at the deli located in the lobby of Recess, where visitors can peruse and purchase a curated selection of goods from small-scale producers such as Live Loud Foods, East Branch Farms, Gus &amp; Grey, Canaan, and Root Elixir. As visitors enter the listening/recording room located within the main Session space, they are immersed in a sonic environment designed by Daniel Santos, featuring sound from Booker Mitchell of <a href="https://bridgestreetsound.com/" title="https://bridgestreetsound.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bridge Street Sound</a>. The spatial and acoustic design encourages thoughtful listening, creating an experience that invites a deep engagement with the present moment.
