Emotional Fitness Studio in Annapolis

Free monthly in-person wellness events, some in English and some in Spanish, guided by different local wellness providers who share their best tips and tools to inspire, support, and boost mental and emotional health. Wellness accessible to everyone!

This workshop is part of the Emotional Fitness Studio, a year-round mental health initiative offering free monthly in-person wellness workshops and experiences. *ATTENTION: Tickets for this event are free as part of our mission to support mental and emotional health in our community. However, spots are limited, so we kindly ask that you PLEASE only register if you plan to attend. This ensures we can reserve spaces for those who are eager to participate. In this workshop:What do you see when you look at yourself?Join us for a powerful workshop designed for women who are ready to redefine their self-worth. Through guided reflection with Maria Winters, Licensed Mental Health Therapist, and a personalized photography experience with Casey of Casey Elaine Photography, you will focus on self-discovery, self-acceptance, and empowerment. Together, we will explore the stories we tell ourselves about our worth and gently challenge the narratives that no longer serve us. Then, you will step in front of the camera not to be judged, but to be seen. With Casey's guidance, you will have a chance to capture an image of yourself that reflects not just how you look, but how you want to feel.Through group reflection and shared insights, we will explore the emotional impact of seeing ourselves through a new lens- both literally and figuratively. You'll leave with a professional photo that serves as a reminder of your beauty, strength, and growth. This is not about the perfect picture, it's about learning to love the person in the frame. About the Presenters:I’m Casey, a California girl turned Marylander with a passion for capturing authentic, emotional moments through my photography. Before I found my calling behind the camera, I was a scientist and worked in many different types of labs. Now, as a mom of two young kids, I understand just how important it is to create a space where moms, kids, and women—feel seen, heard, and comfortable. My goal is always to help you feel confident and beautiful, whether I'm guiding you through styling choices or helping a tired mom keep her baby calm during a session. I believe in making sure everyone feels valued and empowered. When I'm not photographing, you'll find me enjoying my morning walks, surrounded by houseplants, lost in a good book, or listening to music. I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and I am passionate about opening real conversations on emotional wellbeing.
