Generative Workshop
Miami Poetry Club's Generative Workshop is a creative haven designed to spark your imagination. Write along to our SURPRISE writing prompts in a nurturing environment, with dedicated time to write (and share if you’d like). All levels welcome.

EVENT GUIDELINES

1. Bring a notebook, paper, pen/pencil, typewriter, or electronic device to write!
2. Help us make the most of our No-Cost Workshops by limiting the amount of distractions.
3. Arrive for Check-in, grab a cookie, a pen and paper, a seat, and hang out in community!
4. We provide you with a SURPRISE writing prompt & writing excercises with time to write and share.

Entrance on 15th street, inside of the parking garage - Go to the 5th floor

- Doors Open: 7PM (30 minute Poetry Social)
- Events Starts: 7:30 PM
- Event Ends: 9:30PM

Mission:

Miami Poetry Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to provide inclusive accessible poetry education and events to amplify and enrich the lives of Miamians through the transformational power of writing and community.

MPC is dedicated to being a central, multicultural public literary organization to cultivate the next generation of great Miami writers and further establish Miami as a hub for literary arts where our diverse stories are celebrated, cultivated, and shared with the world, striving for "A writer in every home."

Our programming includes 2 monthly No-Cost Writer's Workshops,Palms & Poetry Open Mic, pop up Poetry Playground Advanced Workshops, MPC Showcase, and the virtual publication of local writers.
