Having trouble finding the motivation to lace up and get moving? This seminar is great for running newbies and vets alike.

Let&#x27;s face it: Whether you&#x27;re a total beginner or a veteran runner, lacing up and getting outside has its fair share of challenges. I should know: In 2008, I hesitantly began my running journey. At the time, I was conquering a 14:00 half-mile (!) every single day. Now, I&#x27;m an 8-time marathoner and 6:04 miler — with a one-too-many half marathons and other races under my belt — as well as a United Endurance Sports Coaching Association (UESCA) running coach.In this seminar, we&#x27;ll talk about running from soup to nuts:<ul><li>Goal setting</li><li>Ideal form tips</li><li>Finding the right motivation when things feel tough (addressing everything from best-practices for navigating hardship on the run, dealing with warm/cool days + more)</li><li>Finding the right gear (shoes to wearables)</li><li>How to stave off injury</li><li>The different types of running (steady state, tempo, recovery, long, intervals + more)</li><li>Warm-up and cool-down drills</li></ul>+ more!* A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to <a href="https://blackgirlsrun.com/pages/about" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Black Girls Run</a>, an organization that encourages and motivates Black women to practice a healthy lifestyle, get out, and move.
