"Come Meet A Black Person (CMABP)" Anti-Blackness Series
CMABP is a truth-telling, accountability-centered dialogue series designed for white people and non-Black participants seeking to understand racism, anti-Blackness, and white supremacy beyond surface-level conversations. These sessions are not performative spaces. They are structured to move participants from awareness to responsibility to action.
Racism -- white supremacy -- anti-Blackness is at the forefront of all conversations today in this country and the world. There is an open and continuous attack on Black Americans and other Blacks . It is a fact that America was built upon racism and is part of all systems and structures of the country. White supremacy can only be solved by white people. Anti-Blackness can only be solved by white and non-Black people.
With the MAGA (GOP) administration -- regime -- in office for the next few years in America, the Black community must focus on US -- our collective strengths -- to thrive as we fight the continued assault on our community. The Black community must sit back, stay aware and ready, but don't get involved. We must watch the next few years unfold, while focusing on building and protecting ourselves.
This series will continue to address and fight anti-Blackness, while providing non-Black allies with the TRUE history of the Black Americans and the Black diaspora. in America and the world.
For those who are white and non-Black and want to be allies of the Black community, acknowledging white privilege, as well as the privileges afforded to other non-whites striving to be accepted in whiteness, is the first step in addressing anti-Blackness-- racism. "Come Meet A Black Person" is an open forum for humans to start better relationships with each other across cultural and racial differences.
As part of the event, we give two tests for discussion -- African Superiority Test and White Privilege Test .
The White Privilege Test measures the life experiences of people of the world based on the functionality of racism in everyday life. The African Superiority Test celebrates the genetic, intellectual, and cultural brilliance of Africans and their descendants. It also serves as a tool to enlighten racists and anti-Black individuals of all races who remain unaware of the undeniable superiority and contributions of African people to humanity’s history and progress. Both of these tests are for all races and ethnicities.
"Come Meet A Black Person" focuses on the Black community and is open to all races and cultures. The series includes guest speakers, interactive questionnaires, open conversations and an awesome group of participants. We will interact in discussions, polls, and #TalkRooms.
