2025 Dr. Martin Luther King Unity Day<h2>Welcome to the 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King Unity Day!</h2>The SCLC Tuscaloosa County Chapter Executive Board will host its annual Dr. MLK Unity Day of events on January 20th, 2025, commencing with the 8:00am MLK Unity Day Breakfast at Beulah Baptist Church, 3100 25th Street, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35401. During the Unity Breakfast, the SCLC Tuscaloosa County Chapter will present four Mountain Top Awards to distinguished community advocates, leaders, and civil rights pioneers. The Chapter will also celebrate the legacy, service, and impact of Mr. James Horton in Tuscaloosa and West Alabama. VIP tables are available for $250.00, while general seating tickets are $25.00. Tables are limited The noonday MLK Unity March will commence at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School and proceed to Tuscaloosa City Hall. Please note that participant lineup will begin at 11:15am in front of the school. Tuscaloosa National Pan Hellenic Council will be the Grand Marshalls for the 2025 MLK Unity March.
