The Teenager's Guide to Burnout: Finding the Road to Recovery

Liberated Learners' mission is to support the creation of Self-Directed Education (SDE) centers in every community and to provide ongoing mutual support for our member centers around the world. We offer free monthly webinars discussing the educational and financial models. Our Starter Program provides individual support for people interested to open an SDE center in their community. Dr. Naomi Fisher offers an essential guide for all teenagers experiencing stress and burnout (and their parents!)

Many people think burnout only happens to adults, but it's something lots of teenagers experience too. If your teenage child is experiencing any of these, it may be a sign of burnout: <ul><li>Lacking in energy and feeling that their life has lost its sparkle</li><li>Feeling like they can't ever quite relax</li><li>Unable to sleep despite being exhausted all the time</li><li>Finding that they don't really enjoy anything anymore, even things they used to love</li><li>Feeling that everyone is irritating and no one understands</li><li>Finding going to school really hard or not possible at all anymore</li></ul> <a href="https://www.naomifisher.co.uk/" title="https://www.naomifisher.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Dr. Naomi Fisher</a>, clinical psychologist and author, will join us to discuss what burnout is, how teens get there, what they can do to get back to a life they enjoy, and helpful tips for parents of young people experiencing burnout.
