We recommend that you are an intermediate to advanced skier, as snow conditions will likely vary and we will be traveling about 6 miles round trip.

How strenuous is this ski?

Accepted Answer

This ski has about 500' in elevation gain, and is moderate in difficulty.

Question 3

What kind of weather should I be prepared for?

Accepted Answer

Be prepared for very cold and possibly windy conditions. It can be as much as 20 degrees colder at the pass than in East Glacier, and the wind chill can be intense. Dress accordingly and bring layers!

What do I need to bring?

Please provide your own gear, including skiing equipment (ideally backcountry metal-edged skis). Make sure to pack a lunch and bring plenty of water as well!
