<p>Participants in this course will engage in a dynamic and supportive learning environment designed to help you identify, reflect on, and pursue your hopes, dreams, and goals. Together, we will explore strategies to overcome barriers, shift negative thinking into taking action in our own regard, and develop wellness tools to maintain balance and resilience. By integrating concepts like mindfulness, motivation, and self-compassion, we will empower ourselves and each other to stay focused, adaptable, and committed to achieving meaningful personal and professional growth. This training will focus on how to implement these strategies for ourselves and how to work with others on these topics using our personal experiences to frame our conversations.</p><p><strong><strong>Learning Objectives</strong></strong></p><p>1. Identify and Share: Participants will explore and articulate their hopes, dreams, and goals while learning to recognize common barriers that can arise in pursuit of them.</p><p>2. Change Negative to Positive: Participants will practice shifting negative thoughts into positive ones and reflect on how this change can influence progress toward their goals.</p><p>3. Build Balance and Resilience: Participants will develop action plans to address barriers, nurture balance through mindfulness, and apply self-compassion when setbacks occur.</p><p><br></p><p>Time: Live online sessions will be 6 total hours.</p><p>Requirements: Participants need access to computers with internet access and video capabilities. Reading materials, online discussions, questions and life work assignments will be required throughout this course. The online sessions need to be secured so arriving on-time is critical.
