In fact, most of us have practiced candle magick at least once in our lives. Did you make a wish on your birthday candles? Many cultures often include lighting candles for special days or holidays. This workshop will be a creative exploration into using candles for spells and manifesting intentions. Beginning with the history of candle magick we will step back and learn how our ancestors used candles to improve and protect their lives. We will delve into setting your intentions and dressing your candles to bring in additional influences. Choosing the best time to perform your magick will help to boost your success. And, planning color correspondences and candle types and shapes that raise your magickal success. We will blend these aspects together for your own, custom magickal spell.Have a white candle on hand, a sharp instrument so you can carve into your candle, and your journal and good pen to take some notes. So, grab your candles and let’s perform some magick.Janine Nelson is a high priestess and National Public Information Officer for the Covenant of the Goddess, one of the largest and oldest Wiccan religious organizations.Zoom meeting code will be emailed to you upon ticket purchase.
