Arthur will help us explore how the Torah can be a positive healing presence in today&#x27;s world. How did people become so divided? How can we use ancient texts to bridge today&#x27;s gaps? How do we make religious learning widely accessible? How do student-teacher connections affect our understanding?Bio: Arthur Kurzweil is a treasured author, editor, educator and publisher whose work has appeared in New York Magazine, Moment, and The Washington Post. He has published +650 books by various authors on issues of Jewish interest. Arthur wrote Kabbalah for Dummies and Torah for Dummies. Arthur wrote Kabbalah for Dummies and Torah for Dummies. Her work supports individual journalists of color, ensures the investment in media enterprises founded by people of color, and strives for inclusion in media ecosystems. As part of the Lenfest Institute, the Philadelphia Inquirer is now the largest newspaper in America operated as a public-benefit corporation.When we consider stories, we have to consider who is writing the stories. Which voices get air time and which do not? How do we stay informed and not get overwhelmed? How do we ensure validity in news bites?  What does it mean to have innovative journalism?

July 28th at 7:30pm EDT- Andre Davis is passionate about using stories to empower people to advance personal and professional development. He launched Humble Genius Media to use stories to grows communities and help organizations build digital platforms representing social impact. Andre works for the New York City Transportation Department and studied clinical psychology at Lincoln University. Recently, Andre spoke publicly on the Showtime stage at the Apollo and at Harvard University.Aviva and Andre will dip into organic conversation on: Why do you like stories? How is storytelling an effective tool? In what ways is humanity telling inadequate stories? How do you cope with challenges? What advice do you have for the next generation? Zoom interviews are one hour in length and include interactive Q&amp;A. Coping Cafe is produced by Aviva Perlo.
