Helping Without Hurting in Benevolence Ministry— 6-week, coach-led training for church and nonprofit staff and/or volunteers.

February 13 - March 20, 2025.<ul><li>Online instruction through Chalmers Pathwright LMS platform</li><li>Weekly Zoom Sessions: Thursdays from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. (Eastern)</li></ul>Through Helping Without Hurting in Benevolence Ministry, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to develop a holistic, relationship-focused benevolence ministry, equip your church or ministry with a biblical foundation for responding to requests for financial help, and learn tools and processes to address material poverty in your community in effective, transformational ways.This training includes 6 live, 60-minute, online group sessions facilitated by two experienced Chalmers Lead Trainers to cement our learning and facilitate relational growth.You’ll need to set aside a total of 12-18 hours to complete this course over the span of 7 weeks.Each week, in addition to the group learning time, you'll need to plan for 1-2 hours outside of class working through reading, video, and activity assignments.Minimum software requirements: To participate in the online Helping Without Hurting in Benevolence Ministry training, each participant will need:<ul><li>A unique email address (i.e. not a shared address like mercyministry@yourchurch.org) to receive a unique course login</li><li><a href="https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/" title="https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Firefox</a>, <a href="http://www.apple.com/safari/" title="http://www.apple.com/safari/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Safari</a> or <a href="https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/" title="https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Google Chrome</a> to access the course website.</li><li>A <a href="https://zoom.us/" title="https://zoom.us/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Zoom</a> account to join in online conversations</li></ul>
