Integrate!is an integrated grass roots organization and trauma-informed community network of social workers, educators, yoga teachers, therapists, nurses, artists, parents, foster parents, counselors, massage therapists, doctors and other human service providers—as well as survivors that are dedicated to street level resiliency and healing across America.Integrate!creates social networking opportunities for professionals and individuals wanting to learn more about Trauma Smart Practices to connect and support each other. By using a variety of embodied ways that minimize the effects of compassion fatigue, the network helps to increase the capacity for professionals and parents to show up for their clients, students, families, and children, with the capacity to provide compassionate and Trauma Smart Practices. By integrating powerful resources across America, our national approach offers a wider scale of knowledge on healing through resiliency building and self-care for professionals and survivors.Integrate!was originally founded in St. Louis as the Trauma-Informed Network of St. Louis, where its head quarters still remain.

Designed with care and compassion, this class offers a supportive space for individuals to embark on a healing journey, integrating the mind, body, and spirit. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, this offering is open to everyone who seeks to heal from past traumas and cultivate resilience. In these classes, we combine the therapeutic benefits of yoga with trauma-informed practices to create a supportive environment that promotes healing and growth. Our certified instructors have extensive training in trauma sensitivity, ensuring that each session is tailored to meet the unique needs and experiences of every participant. Throughout the classes, you will learn grounding techniques and mindfulness practices to reconnect with your body and cultivate present-moment awareness. We'll explore gentle yoga postures for the first 20-25 minutes that support relaxation, release tension, and promote physical and emotional well-being. The following hour will be a 45-55 minute yoga nidra experience. Participants will experience trauma-informed breathwork exercises to regulate the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and promote emotional balance and learn to cultivate self-compassion and develop tools for self-care, empowering you to navigate challenges with resilience. The entire ninety-minute experience involves journal prompts for nervous system self-care, gentle movement and ends with yoga nidra, a passive yoga practice that involves being positioned in a restful position while being guided through a guided body scan meditation to promote mindful and restful awareness. Come learn how to make healthy decisions for yourself on and off the mat. Cost: $23.00 We will be in the main studio at Om Old Orchard. Online + In person options
