About this event

Welcome to a day of magic and fun at Rooterville Animal Sanctuary—where every visit is celebrated as the BEST DAY EVER by many! For just $19.95 per person or $59 for a family of four (and kids 5 and under are free), you'll enjoy an unforgettable adventure among our rescued farm animals. Your ticket not only grants you entry into this gentle world but also supports the care and comfort of our beloved animal family.

Imagine spending your day surrounded by charming critters—from friendly pigs and inquisitive turkeys (yes, one even loves a gentle hug!) to our sweet fluffy cows like Jett, Phoebe, and Penny, who adore the occasional banana treat when served just right (small bites, no peels).

Please note, your farm tour is included with a Cow Cuddle purchase. For dedicated Cow Cuddle sessions, kindly visit the separate booking page here.

The delights don't stop there! Wander through our enchanting butterfly garden, discover a special Roo-venir in our gift shop, or watch the little ones light up in our play area complete with bounce houses, a sand pile, and don't miss a fun pond feeding experience with fish and turtles down by the covered wagons at the end of the driveway. (Don’t forget to bring quarters for the treats, and please, no adventurous rides in the wagons—they're cozy homes for our guests!)

For a touch of calm and connection, you can even spend time grooming our gentle mini horses. Let Aurora, our sweet little white horse, and her friend Gabby help you unwind with a peaceful brushing session—just ask a staff member to get you set up to groom them.

Set aside up to two hours for your visit—though once you're embraced by the warmth and wonder of our sanctuary, you might not want the joy to end! Every minute here builds lasting memories and connects you deeper to the spirit of animal care and community.

And because we believe everyone should experience this magic, if the ticket price is a challenge, simply let us know when you check in at our gift shop. We warmly welcome every family into our sanctuary.

We can’t wait to share our world with you—where nature, kindness, and unforgettable moments await at every corner. See you soon at Rooterville!

Frequently asked questions

Can we pet the animals?

YES! Til your arms fall off if you like! The piggies LOVE belly rubs, the cats and dogs love hugs and pets too and you can pet the goats and sometimes even a cow through the fence. The white mini horse is super sweet but the brown one can get nippy so be careful near him.

Can we bring food to feed them?

YES! They love treats! Baby carrots, sliced up apples, strawberries, grapes, even crackers make good snacks for them. If you go to the feed store, they make snacks for mini farm animals and horses that work great.

How long can we stay?

Our tickets are good for 2 hours, that is about how much time it takes most people to visit, have fun and be ready to head off to their next adventure. If you'd like to stay longer, just check with us in the gift shop to make sure we don't get too crowded. We want you to have a great experience.

If we booked a cow cuddle session, do we have to pay to visit too?

NO! We will take all of the money you will give us to help us care for the animals of course but you are welcome to visit the other animals before and/or after your cow cuddle session without paying more.
