Soul of Yoga

An experience of awakening through sound and chant

Join internationally acclaimed author and musician Christine Stevens and crystal alchemy sound healer and yogi Michele McNiff in an experience of awakening through sound and chant. Lord Ganesh, the elephant God is considered one of the first shamanic Gods as he can shape shift into an animal. He is always honored with chant to begin sacred events in the Hindu, Buddhist and Balinese traditions. This shamanic spiritual deity brings the power of shape shifting, removing obstacles with playful wisdom, and opening the gates and thresholds for your desires. He is associated with the root chakra, Muladhara and offers us a chance to ground the New Year in spiritual community and practice.Christine and MIchele have designed “devotional sound baths” to combine kirtan and sound healing. They offer 30 minutes of chanting Ganesh’s mantra, "Jaya Ganesha, Jaya Ganesha, Jaya Ganesha Om” with harmonium, percussion and strings, followed by 40 minutes of sound bath including deep buffalo drums for your root chakra, crystal alchemy singing bowls to open your heart, Native American flute to travel in shamanic portals and water sounds to bathe in the radiance of luminous space.Event tickets: $30MC Yogi says, “Elephant Power” When your blessed by Ganesh than you can travel / on a sacred journey to an inner templeHe paves the path that leads to the soul / & he's known for removing all obstaclesNow some may think it's illogical / a myth or it's just philosophicalBut Ganesh makes everything possible / because elephant power's unstoppable
