Using Legos, blocks or found materials, children will collaborate and play socially online through building together.

Building is better when you can play together! Can&#x27;t play with friends outside? Join us online!Using any materials at hand, from Legos to blocks to Magna Tiles to found objects, children will connect via a live Zoom class to collaborate and create. Each class is kept deliberately small to minimize screen fatigue and maximize communication, creativity and cooperation. (Maybe your dragon will meet my robot and we&#x27;ll have tea on a pirate ship?) Facilitated by a trained playworker, classes provide the time and space online for children to lead their own play. The playwork model provides social and emotional support for children&#x27;s play without judgment. We meet kids where they are. Play is essential to emotional processing and learning, and this class provides an opportunity for children to play with others, safely from home. A Zoom link with password will be shared with all participants about 45 minutes before class begins.
